Harrison Wagner, DC
What is a Chiropractor (DC)?
My background:
Having grown up locally I have spent lots of time hiking in the local mountains and trails, enjoying all that our vibrant culture has to offer and getting to know members of the community.
My training:
As a doctor of chiropractic (DC), chiropractor, or chiropractic physician, I am a medical professional who is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system.
I have over 4,500 hours of in class education from the trusted leader in chiropractic education, Palmer Chiropractic, along with countless hours of continuing education to further my knowledge of how the human body moves. During my studies I have learned much about the assessment of musculoskeletal, and non-musculoskeletal conditions of the human body, while continuing to expand my understanding of biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, epidemiology, and biomechanics.
I have experience working with a variety of professional, college, and recreational athletes. Including locally with the WHL’s Vancouver Giants and the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express junior hockey clubs.
I am also a graduate of the University of British Columbia and hold a degree in Kinesiology, and I am a member of the BC Chiropractic Association, The Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the BC College of Chiropractors.
My approach:
My focus is to alleviate muscle tension, increase circulation throughout the body, and to restore proper function to the body’s systems.
Treatment may include hands of treatment methods, instrument assisted treatment methods, stretches, exercises, and various musculoskeletal treatment modalities.
