Harrison Wagner, DC
What is a Chiropractor (DC)?
My background:
Having grown up locally I have spent lots of time hiking in the local mountains and trails, enjoying all that our vibrant culture has to offer and getting to know members of the community. When not at work I am often spending time with family and friends, at restaurants, cafes, and at local hockey rinks.
My training:
As a doctor of chiropractic (DC), chiropractor, or chiropractic physician, I am a medical professional who is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system.
I trained at the global leader in chiropractic education Palmer Chiropractic, at their west campus in San Jose. During my studies I have learned much about the assessment of musculoskeletal, and non-musculoskeletal conditions of the human body, while continuing to expand my understanding of biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, epidemiology, and biomechanics.
I have experience working with a variety of professional, college, and recreational athletes. Including locally with the WHL’s Vancouver Giants and the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express junior hockey clubs.
I have worked over 4 years at the official clinic of The Vancouver Canucks.
I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia and also hold a degree in Kinesiology and am currently pending approval from the Kinesiology Association of British Columbia to be dually licensed to practice as a Kinesiologist as well.
I am a member of the BC Chiropractic Association, The Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the BC College of Chiropractors.
My approach:
Having now been treating patients for over eight years I developed a unique approach in treating the neuromusculoskeletal system and helping patients of all ages and backgrounds achieve a higher level of health and wellness.
Treatment may include hands of treatment methods, instrument assisted treatment methods, mobilization techniques, movement suggestions, and various other neuromusculoskeletal treatment modalities.
I am currently accepting new patients and would be happy to learn a bit about your story and help you along your journey.
