What is Ergonomics?
Ergonomics is defined as the study of how people work in their environment. An example of ergonomics is a study of how people who primarily sit in their offices get work-related back injuries.
Why is it important?
Ergonomics is important because when you’re doing a job and your body is stressed by an awkward posture, extreme temperature, or repeated movement your musculoskeletal system is affected. Implementing ergonomic solutions can make employees more comfortable and increase productivity.
